Ewe Revue 2 Red Carpet Runway Preview Party

Lady Ba-Ba, Sheeplock Holmes and Captain Sheepow were among the Hollywood-themed sheep designs on display Tuesday night at The Ewe Revue 2 Preview Party at the Royal Park Hotel.

Hundreds of people turned out January 17th to check out 86 sheep designs submitted by local artists.

Design submissions are still being accepted for the public art display planned for downtown Rochester this summer; sponsored designs will be made into fiberglass sheep, which will be sprinkled around downtown Rochester. The sheep were first seen in downtown Rochester in the summer of 2001 and will return with a Hollywood theme starting May 11. They are intended to be an attraction to visitors during the rebuilding of Main Street this year.

Wesley Woodyard’s 2nd Annual Holiday Toy Drive Hosted By 16 Ways Foundation

A three-time captain, Wesley Woodyard is a revered leader in the Broncos locker room.

He’s also a leader in the community.

On Monday a large group of teammates showed their support for Woodyard’s 16Ways Foundation, taking part in the non-profit organization’s second annual toy drive at the Downtown Aquarium.

Guests brought a wide array of unwrapped gifts to the event, placing them under a Christmas tree in the ballroom before meeting and greeting the many Broncos in attendance. Those gifts will be donated to families with limited means for the holidays and a silent auction featuring autographed memorabilia was also held to raise money.

“Giving back to the kids in the community is something I just love doing,” Woodyard said, who started the 16Ways Foundation to provide resources for at-risk youths last year. “I just love being around the Denver community.”

A First: The Safest Red Carpet Runway Event Yet

In a Red Carpet Runway first, a metal detector was placed half way down the Red Carpet and between the velvet ropes, all to secure a private event at the Columbian Consulate. Details of the party are confidential, but lets just say – this is the safest Red Carpet we have ever seen!
